Plo Roucarels means small rocky plateau in occitan. It is run by two young and passionate wine makers, Julia Hubrich (from the former East Germany) and Julien Gil. This domain is located a few kilometers from the medieval citadel of Carcassonne, near the Pyrenees mountain range. The warm Mediterranean climate is tempered by some Atlantic oceanic influence. It allows Julia and Julien to produce wines based on elegance and finesse.
