This white is a special cuvee, the plot is located on a plateau at 500m/600m of altitude close to the Tarerach village. The soil is made of granit called « granitic arena ». This soil was formed by the magma 300 milions years ago.
A complex, rich and authentic wine that truly shows its Mediterranean influences.
From very old vines of Carignan, this cuvee, through its purity and softness, brings plenty of pleasure.
L'Episcata is a single plot cuvee, the twin brother of l'Aragone. To celebrate its birth, the artist Philippe Laborderie has created a magnificent label around the theme of the terroir. This cuvee comes from very old Grenache vines which give a juicy, delicious and fresh wine.
About the label: It's written in Persia. It is a nod to the city of Shiraz in Iran, long considered the cradle of Syrah, the painting illustrates this with the desert and the vine growing in the middle.
30 years old Grenach planted on 300m of altitude!
