From this Winery
Gamay with a firm taste. Saliva secretion stimulates taste buds and goes well with meat pies.
Aromas of wild berries, violets and ripe cherries.
On the mouth, the wine is medium to full bodied, satiny and complex, with excellent concentration, succulent acids and powdery tannins.
Aromas of cherries, rose hips and raspberries introduce the 2019 Brouilly, a medium-bodied, bright and lively wine, with a crunchy core of fruit framed by youthfully chalky tannins. Pure and immensely drinkable, this will show well young.
The 2018 Beaujolais-Villages Lantignié La Colline de Cheimieux offers up lovely aromas of crushed cassis, blackberries, cherries and spices, followed by a medium to full-bodied, succulent and concentrated palate that's more tightly wound than Burgaud's regular bottling, built to reward a bit of bottle age.
