Château Moulin Bellegrave

Story

Antoine Mabileau, heir to a winegrowing family from the Loire Valley, present in Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil, took over this property in the south of Saint-Emilion in 2012 with the project of engaging in viticulture that is more respectful of the soil and as natural as possible. In 2019, the 16 hectares in the Saint Emilion Grand Cru appellation will be converted to organic farming.

His young and dynamic approach, combined with his perfect technical mastery, has contributed to the revival of this property in strict respect of its high quality gravel terroir.

The techniques that have been used for several years are continued and refined: grassing every other row, plot selection, manual leaf removal, green harvesting, sorting of the harvest in the vineyard and in the cellar. The vineyard is managed in accordance with the practice of sustainable agriculture.
