In 1850, Louis Tissot established an agricultural farm in Chignin with very few vines, which were cultivated for the family's personal consumption. After the Phylloxera crisis in 1900, a few vine plants were replanted, and they are still cultivated today. In 1950, Victor Berthollier (paternal grandfather of Didier and Denis) was among the very first to commercially bottle their wine; at that time, it was more common to sell wine in barrels and bulk.
In 1970, the Berthollier family played an active role in the creation of the Savoie AOC (Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée), and it was during this period that the estate transitioned to organic farming.
Today, Denis and Didier represent the 5th generation caring for this 11-hectare estate, producing wines of exceptional quality. Their white wines are characterized by their purity and delicacy, while their reds display vibrant fruitiness and a satisfying crunchiness.

From this Winery
Superb example of a floral jacquères, tonic and refreshing. Thanks to its low alcohol and freshness, this wine is easy to drink and perfect for aperitif and delicate fish.
It's a very sophisticated wine.
Gamay's aroma (peat, graphite), which is more rustic and mineral, is well blended with Pinot Noir aromas (red fruit pickled in brandy).
