DEUTZ - WILLIAM DEUTZ 1998
Mature nose showing yellow apples and minerals and opens up with mint chocolate and a touch of freshly cut grass covering it all in a delicious way. Palate is still filled with a refreshing lemon citrus acidity at first, before a creaminess takes over on the mid palate and with a distinct lime zesty bitterness taking over on the lengthy finish. This is just drinking perfectly right now.

Tasting notes
The colour of Femme de Champagne is bright yellow.
At first the nose revels notes of citrus and fresh bread, this biscuity character then gives way to aromas of flowers and yellow fruits (hints of apricot, peach and quince).
On the palate a bewitching flavour of ripe hazelnuts envelopes honeysuckle this is quickly followed by the delicate notes of crystallised mandarin and orange peel.
