Tasting notes
The nose is fine with aromas of fresh butter, peach, pear, praline, and dried fruits, roasted hazelnuts. More honeyed and vanilla flavours when aired. On the palate, we find honeyed and stewed white fruit flavours on a suave attack, fresher and more mineral on the long finish.
Vinification
After pressing, the must is cooled for clarification. Alcoholic fermentation is partly in vats and partly in oak barrels, under temperature control. The wine is then aged for 8 months in oak barrels (50% new). During this ageing, malolactic fermentation takes place.

Winery Description
Domaine Patrick Hudelot is located in Villars-Fontaine, Burgundy. The first viticultural activities of the estate date back to the 1950s, even if the real launch of the property only took place in the 1960s. It has only been owned by Patrick Hudelot since 1980.
The vineyard extends over 22 hectares of vines and since 2000 the estate has been under organic farming in order to offer healthy, fresh and straightforward wines. The grapes are harvested by hand.
The Domaine Patrick Hudelot is one of the biggest references in Burgundy, notably thanks to its wide range of choices from all the region's finest appellations. Any lover of great Burgundy wines will find wine here to suit their discerning taste buds.
