Tasting notes
The nose is fine with a beautiful aromatic amplitude, morello cherry, blackcurrant, blackberry, and slightly peppery when aired.
The attack is fruity like the nose with a hint of vanilla and pepper on fine, crisp tannins. Good ageing potential.
Vinification
The grapes are sorted and completely destemmed. This wine is fermented naturally in vats for 2 to 3 weeks with daily punching downs and possibly pumping over to encourage fermentation. To preserve all the fruitiness of this wine, it is aged for 9 months in vats.

Winery Description
Domaine Patrick Hudelot is located in Villars-Fontaine, Burgundy. The first viticultural activities of the estate date back to the 1950s, even if the real launch of the property only took place in the 1960s. It has only been owned by Patrick Hudelot since 1980.
The vineyard extends over 22 hectares of vines and since 2000 the estate has been under organic farming in order to offer healthy, fresh and straightforward wines. The grapes are harvested by hand.
The Domaine Patrick Hudelot is one of the biggest references in Burgundy, notably thanks to its wide range of choices from all the region's finest appellations. Any lover of great Burgundy wines will find wine here to suit their discerning taste buds.
